As a dedicated Rheumatologist with over two decades of experience, I have always been passionate about fostering healthier, happier lives for my patients. Since 2000, I have practiced in San Diego, where I completed both my residency and fellowship training. Known for my approachable style and commitment to patient education, I strive to empower my patients with knowledge and compassionate care. My patients often express that they feel comfortable entrusting me with their health.

In addition to private practice, I have been involved in clinical research since 2010, conducting numerous clinical trials to advance treatment options in Rheumatology. I am board-certified in Internal Medicine Rheumatology and currently carry Functional Medicine Certification through the Institute of Functional Medicine. I’m excited to expand my practice into this area of Functional Medicine. I launched a dedicated Functional Medicine practice in October 2024 and am practicing under the Functional Health Institute.

Beyond my professional life, I am an avid cook, especially of Indian cuisine, and enjoy watching cooking channels for inspiration. I love traveling, exploring new cultures, and trying unique cuisines with my family and friends. I’ve been married for 26 years to my husband, and together, we have two wonderful sons, now college-aged, who share our zest for travel and adventure.
