Emily Darr, MD

Emily A. Darr, M.D., is a physiatrist specializing in spine and joint care. She played Division I volleyball at the College of Charleston before attending the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia. Dr. Darr joined the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Physical Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, where she served as an Associate Professor for 10 years. During this time, she taught orthopedic residents and medical students about musculoskeletal medicine. She practices physical medicine and rehabilitation, aiming to improve function in patients ranging from young athletes to the elderly.
