Marzena Buzanowska, MD

Dr. Buzanowska is an Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine physician and an Associate Medical Director at River City Sports and Spine Specialists in Columbus, GA. Her primary focus is on developing a holistic and individualized treatment plan for the relief of pain.

She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Director of Musculoskeletal Medicine and Interventional Spine Fellowship. Prior to joining River City, Dr. Buzanowska spent four years working at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Buzanowska has been a speaker in national meetings and has published articles, abstracts and book chapters on regenerative medicine, sciatica, low back and gluteal pain, and others. She is a member of multiple professional societies, where she is active in the sphere of healthcare leadership, legislation and health policy.

In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and spending time with family.
