Dr. Anden’s mission is to help patients heal and cope with chronic injuries, pain, and musculoskeletal disorders by combining education, lifestyle counseling, and conventional and alternative treatment strategies.

As a quadruple board certified physician, she has been a trail blazer for female physicians in Utah for more than 30 years. She specializes in sports medicine and non-surgical orthopedics and uses a “whole person” approach when recommending treatment options.

She believes treating the body “as a whole” is the best way to optimize recovery, return the body to its most functional state, and improve quality of life. So she considers exercise, modification of existing exercise regimens, medication, manipulation, relaxation, non-surgical treatments, surgery, or a combination of options when developing treatment plans.

She moved to Utah in 1988 for “The Greatest Snow on Earth” and started her private practice.
