I have always been of the understanding that the role of a physician is to act as a wise and skilled instrument in providing comfort and healing to those seeking compassionate medical care.

My curiosity regarding medical science, my empathy for the sick and disabled, as well as my admiration of my pediatrician at a young age fueled my desire to join the healing arts as a physician.

I treat each of my patients as I would wish to be treated, and consider those in my care as I would friends and family. They have come to me for help, and it is my desire and obligation to give them the very best care, skill, and comfort that I can possibly provide.

I have provided care over 30 years to the Baltimore and Washington D.C. metropolitan region since the completion of my medical training at Georgetown University Medical School and Georgetown University Medical Center. My care involvement has ranged from Medical School Clinician instructor, hospital attending, to private practice physician with an effort to always enhance my skills and to provide the very best care possible to my patients.

As an Anesthesiologist specializing in interventional pain management, I am a member of several societies dedicated to the care and advancement of knowledge in the treatment of pain. These societies include The Interventional Orthobiologic Foundation IOF, The Spinal Injection Society, The American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, The American Neuromodulation Society, The International Neuromodulation Society, The American Medical Association, and The American Academy of Pain Medicine

Dr. Pearson enjoys sports (former Semi-Pro football national champion), martial art (belt holder in Tai kwon do and Ninjitsu), travel, and science fiction.
